RADON GAS TESTING
Radon is defined as a cancer causing radioactive gas. One cannot see, smell or taste radon. It is a naturally occurring gas that is formed from the breakdown of uranium deposits in the rocks and soil under your home.
Radon testing is a US standard for reducing radon in homes as far as practical below 4 picocuries per liter in indoor air.
Testing is the only way to find out about your home’s radon level. The EPA recommends testing of all homes below the second floor for radon.
Our radon tests are performed by using Electret Ion Detectors and continuous monitoring systems. The monitors are placed in the proper location for at least 48 hours. It measures the radon level hourly and averages the results for the duration of the test. The test shows hourly results and average concentrations of radon in your home.
We aspire to assist sellers and buyers to make a well-informed decision for the property. Radon testing is critical in each property investment. To learn more about this service, call today.
**Radon gas sampling will take 48 hours. Thereafter, we email an easy to read line graph that clearly shows the hourly results and average concentrations of radon to you, the customer, and your Realtor.
